The Houston Garden Club named winners last week of its monthly lawn and business contest. The residential winner was Oneta Farris, 1005 Ozark St. Other winners: Barbara Thomas, 528 Chestnut, second; and Rita Ruckert, 505 Hawthorn, third. The business recognition award went to the Houston Housing Authority at 200 Chestnut.
