Lynn and Mary Gayer of Houston are the winners of the “yard of the month” contest sponsored by the Houston Garden Club.
The Gayer residence at 517 Hawthorn won top honors.
Other winners: Rita Ruckert, 505 Hawthorn, second; Wilma Dean Holder, 507 Phelps, third; and Dr. Charles and Anne Marie Mueller, honorable mention, 1124 Ozark.
The business award went to Landmark Bank, South Sam Houston Blvd.
