The Houston R-1 School District board of education made several personnel decisions during a closed session meeting Tuesday, Sept. 10.
The board unanimously approved the employment of Alexis Hunter, as paraprofessional; Gracie Alexander, as paraprofessional; Madison Mazingo, as paraprofessional; Isaiah Buse, as volunteer; Savannah Morgan, as Exceptional Child Cooperative paraprofessional; and Rachel Kelly, as Houston Alternative Learning Opportunities (HALO) paraprofessional. All but Kelly are pending background checks.
Superintendent Dr. Justin Copley updated the board on student discipline.
