Texas County’s unemployment rate rose in June from the previous month, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
In June, the rate was 5.3%. That is up four-tenths from May.
According to the department, the county’s total labor force was 9,363 and employed was 8,870. (Total unemployed – 493)
Other counties and their unemployment rates: Dent (5), Douglas (4.5), Howell (5.5), Laclede (4.5), Phelps (4.7), Pulaski (5.4), Shannon (4.9) and Wright (5.1).
