Everett Howard Mercer Jr., 77, son of Everett Mercer Sr. and Josephine Salvajio Mercer was born March 28, 1942. in Stockton, Calif. He passed away Feb. 29, 2020, in Cabool.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson, Virgil Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine (Bendon) Mercer of Jasper, Mo.; two stepsons, Brian Jeffreis Mercer and Brian Roberts; and daughter, Karry Davis.
Mr. Mercer served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963.
No services are planned at this time.
He was cremated and inurnment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under the direction of Evans Funeral Home, Houston.
