UPDATE: At about 3:30 p.m. Friday, the manhunt ended with an arrest, authorities said.
Area law enforcement have spent much of the day in the Houston area seeking a man who has multiple warrants for his arrest.
At about 3:20 p.m., a foot pursuit was under way near Highway 17 and Thomasville Road.
The wanted man is described as wearing a dark shirt with lime green lettering and khaki shorts.

Officers from the Houston Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Texas County Sheriff’s Department are involved.
