Texas County’s biggest annual event, the 109th Old Settlers Reunion and 69th Texas County Fair, concluded Saturday night at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds.
Highlighted by various livestock showing and competition, the fair (orchestrated by the Texas County Fair Board) began Tuesday and concluded Saturday (July 27). The annual Junior Livestock Sale was 2 p.m. Saturday.
The chamber-sponsored Old Settlers Reunion concluded Saturday.
The marquis attraction this year were performances Friday and Saturday nights by freestyle motorcycle riders with Wisconsin FMX, out of Neenah, Wis.
“Texas County’s Got Talent” occurred Thursday in the Murfin Building at the fairgrounds. Cash prizes were awarded.
A carnival midway by Big D’s Amusements was in operation during the evening.
