This year’s 109th annual Texas County Old Settlers Reunion will include performances by a group of professional freestyle motorcycle and ATV riders.
Houston Area Chamber of Commerce executive director Angie Quinlan announced that Wisconsin FMX (out of Neenah, Wis.) will put on Friday and Saturday night shows (July 26 and 27) inside the refurbished arena at the chamber fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
Quinlan said the Wisconsin FMX shows will also include freestyle bicycle riding (BMX).
A carnival midway by Big D’s Amusements will be set up all three nights of the OSR (Thursday, July 25 through Saturday, July 27). Wristbands cost $15 in advance at the Houston Visitors Center or $20 at the midway.
The chamber’s cook shack adjacent to the carnival grounds and arena was recently upgraded and will operate as usual.
