The Licking Fire Department responded at about 2:45 p.m. Sunday to a report of a structure fire at a residence north of town.
Authorities said heavy smoke was reported in the home. The blaze was apparently sparked by a grease fire. An ambulance also was dispatched to 19250 Highway CC.
