A Plato woman sustained injuries Saturday afternoon in an accident in northwest Texas County.
Cpl. Travis Brown said a northbound 2002 Dodge Dakota driven by Tammy L. Rice, 56, skidded off the right side of Groves Drive west of Roby, returned to the roadway, struck a second embankment before coming to rest off the roadway.
Rice, who had minor injuries, was taken by TCMH ambulance to the hospital at Fort Leonard Wood. She was wearing a seat belt, Brown said. The vehicle had moderate damage.
