The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Tabitha L. Vanhorn, 37, of 9019 Arthur Creek Road in Houston, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated and failure to use the right half of the roadway after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 at about 1:45 a.m. Aug. 26.
An officer made the stop after observing a red 2017 Jeep Wrangler with no front license plate moving erratically and failing to signal when pulling into a gas station parking lot. After making contact with the driver, the officer smelled alcohol and sobriety test were conducted.
Vanhorn was released to the custody of a sober driver.
•Katelyn L. Wiebenga, 24, of 210 Cedar St., Apt. 7, in Licking, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 4:20 p.m. Aug. 20.
•Nikki L. Hatton, 38, of 8404 Highway 17 at Bucyrus, was issued citations for driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and no seatbelt after a traffic stop on Grand Avenue at about 11:58 p.m. Aug. 24.
An officer made the stop after observing a black 2014 Ford Fusion moving erratically on U.S. 63 and Grand Avenue. After making contact with the driver, the officer observed unusual behavior and field sobriety tests were conducted.
Hatton was released to the custody of a sober driver.
•Ronald R. Windle, 49, of 6567 Lundy Road in Houston, was cited for driving while revoked on Aug. 25.
•Bruce A. Batchelor, 34, of 8905 Highway E at Houston, was arrested Aug. 21 for having an active Texas County warrant for first-degree arson, first-degree property damage and stealing. Batchelor was taken to the Texas County Jail and held on $250,000 bond.
•An officer responded to a death investigation early Aug. 24 at a local business. Authorities said Jonathon Young, 33, of Houston, was found dead in a bathroom. Foul play is not suspected. The county coroner also was called.
