A Texas County accident Saturday night injured a California woman north of Mountain View.
Tpr. Cathryn Davis said a a southbound 2002 Ford Expedition driven by Rodney A. Stark, 28, of Birch Tree, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off Highway 17 about five miles north of Mountain View and overturned.
A passenger, Brandy L. Holt, 36, off Bakersfield, Calif., had serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
Stark wasn’t wearing a seat belt; Holt was.
The vehicle had extensive damage, Davis reported.
