The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued 34 citations and 18 warnings May 26 during a hazardous moving violation enforcement operation in Texas County.
Totals from the enforcement effort included:
•Eight speed citations.
•11 no seat belt citations.
•Five non-moving violation citations.
•One commercial motor vehicle hazardous moving citation.
•One other hazardous moving violation citation.
•One driver license violation citation.
•Seven uninsured motorist citations.
“Hazardous moving violation operations are one tool the Missouri State Highway Patrol uses to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri’s motorists,” said Capt. Mark G. Inman. “Please be careful when you’re behind the wheel and always be a courteous driver.”
