A Licking woman was struck by a vehicle south of her hometown on Friday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Jason Sentman said a westbound 2008 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Mary M. Hood, 78, of Licking, was backing up on private property when the vehicle struck Casey R. Myrick, 28, of Licking.
Myrick, who had minor injuries, was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
The accident occurred on Reed Road about one mile south of Licking.
