Members of the Texas County Commission handled several issues during meetings on March 21-22.
Commissioners:
—Heard from Angie Fletcher of the Texas County office of University Extension office.
—Discussed web design options with Tonya Pacheco of Rocket Digital, which is working on an update of the county’s website.
—Held discussions regarding a substantial increase in county comp time.
—Acknowledged the hiring of Dorsey “Gene” Foster as a part-time dispatcher at $9.50 an hour effective March 21.
—Received an update from Commissioner John Casey related to his attendance at a meeting of the South Central Solid Waste Management District at Pomona.
