A controlled burn — at 10300 Prescott Road at Licking — was deemed out-of-control at about 1 p.m. Sunday.
The Licking Fire Department was called. The Raymondville Fire Department was dispatched later to provide assistance.
At about 3 p.m., a controlled burn had spread at 13361 Slabtown Road. The Roby Fire Department responded.
