A brush fire is reported in northwest Texas County near Slabtown, authorities said Friday morning.
The Licking Fire Department was called to Highway AF before the Slabtown Bridge, where a fire was reported traveling up a hill near a tree line. Roby was placed on standby.
The U.S Forest Service was reported to have a dozer and engine en route.
