A solid waste district that includes Texas County will hold an event Saturday at Houston City Hall’s parking lot. Persons can drop off items from 9-11 a.m.
Items to be accepted:
• Electronic waste such as TVs, computers and other electronic devices. Batteries and light bulbs also will accepted.
• Document shredding onsite.
• Household hazard waste collections (latex paint and used oil will not be accepted).
There is no charge.
