The following fire calls involved responses from Texas County departments:
• The Houston Fire Department were called at about 7 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding on Hickory Street.
• The Licking Fire Department was called around 9 a.m. Sunday to a reported flue fire on Shafer Road. The Raymondville Fire Department was placed on standby.
• The Clear Springs Department responded Sunday afternoon to a brush fire at Clear Springs Road and Highway 137.
