Area veterans are invited to Mountain Grove for a parade at 2 p.m. Nov. 4.
The Tri-County Veterans Association and Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor the event. All veterans and active duty military men and women are invited.
The grand marshals will be Vietnam veterans riding on a trailer. Each branch of the service will be recognized.
The color guard is the Army National Guard’s 1135th Military Police Co. from West Plains. The 399th Army Marching Band from Fort Leonard Wood also will perform. There also will be various military vehicles.
Lineup is at the elementary school on East Ninth Street. Parking is at the nearby YMCA. Veterans should be on trailers by 1:45 p.m. The parade ends at the YMCA. Veterans are welcome to distribute candy.
