A Houston woman was injured Thursday night in a crash east of Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. Terry Nelson said the accident occurred when an eastbound 2003 Ford F-150 driven by Cameron J. Root, 18, travelled over the center line in a curve and struck a westbound 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix operated by Debra A. Weybright, 52.
Nelson said Weybright was sent by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital. He said she was wearing a seat belt, and Root was not. Both vehicles had extensive damage.
The accident occurred on Ridge Road about two miles southeast of Houston.
