The following meals and activities will be available next week at Houston Senior Center:
• Monday, Oct. 30– ham slice with pineapple, orange glazed carrots, bread, spinach and banana delight. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard; 9 a.m. adult coloring; free lunch drawing.
• Tuesday, Oct. 31– spooktacular chili with crackers, witch finger, cheese sticks, applesauce and Jack O’Lantern cookie. Happy Halloween dress up in costume. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard.
• Wednesday, Nov. 1– pulled pork on bun, potato salad, baked beans and variety of desserts. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard; 12:30 p.m. cards.
• Thursday, Nov. 2– baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, wheat roll, green beans and butterscotch pudding. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard; 11 a.m. Chester & friends.
• Friday, Nov. 3– 8 a.m. – hamburger steak, cauliflower, peas and carrots, ice cream and cookie. 8 a.m. – noon, quilting; 8 a.m. – ? pool and shuffleboard; 9 a.m. exercise.
Salad bar is available every day. Barbecue chicken wings every Friday as an alternate to the meat.
Drawing for five free meals is noon on Mondays, must be present to win.
There are two other food choices daily in the dining room as another food option.
