The feeder calf sale, sponsored by Texas County Livestock Association, grossed $90,000 with an average price for 740 head of cattle at $121.47.
Average weight was 494 pounds and average price per 100 weight was $24.50. Top price for steers was $34.75.

Licking’s FFA dairy products team placed first, competing against teams from 31 states in a contest at Waterloo, Iowa. Members of the team are Larry Harris, Larry Jones and Ronald Moncrief.
