Fair board hosts annual fundraiser
The Texas County Fair Board raised ,400 at its annual dinner and auction fundraiser last Saturday at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds. The money will go toward completion of the organization's new exhibition building adjacent to the livestock barns at the fairgrounds. Darren and Jake Scheets volunteered their services as auctioneers.
