September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the American Library Association and libraries across the country remind parents that a library card is an important school supply.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Library Card Sign-up Month, and the Summersville branch of Texas County Library will celebrate by entering each new library card holder during September into a drawing set for Sept. 30 for a book bag of surprises, compliments of the Summersville Friends of the Library.
