The Miss Texas County Pageant is scheduled for Saturday inside the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
The event’s afternoon show begins at 1 p.m. and will showcase 24 girls ages 3-12. They will showcase their personalities in talents, onstage question, party dress and princess outfit.
The 6 p.m. evening show features contestants vying for titles of Miss Texas County, Miss Texas County’s Outstanding Teen, Miss Southern Missouri and Miss Southern Missouri’s Outstanding Teen. The ladies will compete in private interview, evening wear, on-stage question and lifestyle fitness.
The event’s scholarships are sponsored by The Bank of Houston, Farmers Insurance – agent Cynthia Jones Ramsey, VIP Properties – Jan Watson, Southern Missouri Investments – Jim Bukowsky, Darin’s Body Shop, Progressive Ozark Bank and Delbert and Elaine Campbell.
