HHS TO HOST ANNUAL COLLEGE FAIR ON SEPT. 13
Houston High School’s annual college fair has been announced for Wednesday, Sept. 13, inside Hiett Gymnasium.
The program, through the Missouri School-College Relations Commission, provides both parents and students an opportunity to gain information from a variety of school and state agencies regarding postsecondary planning and career development. The format of the program allows families to visit with a number of representatives from colleges, vocational schools, military branch, and governmental agencies. Approximately 55 representatives are expected to be in attendance.
The schedule will be: HHS freshmen and sophomores, 9-9:15 a.m.; HHS juniors and seniors, 9:20-9:55 a.m.; and Cabool, Eminence, Licking, Mountain Grove, Plato, and Summersville students, 10-10:30 a.m.
Students are encouraged to register online at www.strivefairs.com to provide information one time instead of at each representative’s table.
