Two governmental entities in Texas County were sued last week in circuit court related to a July accident that claimed the life of an area business owner.
Tessa S. Dixon filed the wrongful death lawsuit against Cass Township and Texas County last Tuesday following a July accident that claimed the life of her husband, Justin W. Dixon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Dixon, 31, was operating a northbound 1975 International tractor that traveled off the side of Hamilton Creek Road and overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was a 2004 Houston High School graduate and owner of radio station KUNQ-KBTC east of Houston.
