• Ozarks Property Rights Coalition will meet at 7 p.m. at El Rancho in Cabool. The speaker is John Price, an electronics engineer and HAM radio teacher on the topic of “Electro Magnetic Pulse and Solar Flare, What Really Happens.”

• Molasses making will begin early until dark this week at the Bev Keeney residence, 9411 Highway E, two miles on Highway E (old John Mitchell place), Houston. Stripping and squeezing the cane will be Sunday through Tuesday; and cooking is Wednesday through Saturday. Everyone is welcome.

• University of Missouri Texas County Extension Council meeting, 6 p.m. at the Lone Star Annex in downtown Houston.

• Licking Lions Club meeting, 6 p.m. at the Licking Bridge Builders Senior Center, 116 Green St.

• Roubidoux Township meeting, 7 p.m. at the township building.

• Ozarks Older Iron Club meeting, 7 p.m. at the club facility south of the Farm Fest ground on Canady Lane, Cabool.

• Plato Lodge #469 AF & AM meeting, 7:30 p.m.

• Route 63 Car Club meeting is 7 p.m at the building in Town & Country Supermarket’s parking lot in Licking.

• Houston Garden Club meeting, 1:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the First Baptist Church in Houston.

• Piney Township meeting, 6 p.m. at the township maintenance building on Forrest Drive in Houston.

• Lynch Township meeting, 4 p.m. at the township shed, 14472 Boiling Springs Rd., Licking.

• Public Water Supply District #2 meeting, 6 p.m. at the well house on Morton Road, Houston.

• Tyrone Fire Department meeting, 7 p.m. at Tyrone Community building.

• Texas Lodge #177 AF & AM of Houston monthly meeting, 7:30 p.m. at the Lodge Hall, 812 Dooley, Houston.

WEEKLY

• Raymondville Adult Education and Literacy classes are 5-8 p.m. every Wednesday in the conference room at McClain Forest Products.

• Celebrate Recovery, 6 p.m. Sundays at Faith Fellowship in Houston. Meetings are free and open to the public.

• Texas County Transportation of Licking has transportation available for everyone. If you would like to ride in the van, call 573-674-3558 and make your appointments a day in advance.

• The Eagles Club men’s meeting is 7 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays; and the women’s meeting is 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays.

• Texas County Genealogical and Historical Society Library is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday at the Memorial Building.

Members have two computers to use for search.
