• 12:30 p.m. — Parade lineup. All classes may enter a float in the parade. Contact the high school principal’s office at 417-967-3024 to enter.
• 2 p.m. — Homecoming parade
• 6:30 p.m. — Homecoming queen coronation.
• 7 p.m. — Varsity football game against Ava.
Saturday — Sept. 23
• 7 a.m. — Alumni breakfast at Houston Senior Center.
• 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Romines Motor Co. to host seventh annual Drive 4UR School to benefit Houston School District.
• 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. — Houston Area Chamber of Commerce hosts “Pumpkin Festival” in downtown Houston. A variety of activities, food and classic car cruise-in and pumpkin bake off are planned.
• 10 a.m. — The Houston Rural Volunteer Fire Department’s fourth annual poker run will begin at Pizza Express.
• 1 p.m. — The class of 1987 will meet at the Emmett Kelly Park lower pavilion. Please bring snacks/lunch.
• 2 p.m. — Alumni mixer at Hiett Gym. A short program will begin at 3 p.m. with alumni updates and scholarship reports.
• 6 p.m. — The class of 1987 will gather at the home of Diane and Steve Pierce for a social with food.
Sunday — Sept. 24
• 11 a.m. — Lions Club fish fry at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds community building.
