Archery hunters killed 664 deer in Texas County in the season that ended Sunday, reports the Missouri Department of Conservation.
The breakdown was: 313 bucks, 50 button bucks and 301 does.
The top counties in the state were: Jefferson, 1,130; Wayne, 988; and St. Louis, 982.
