The Houston Herald announced a package of subscription plans that makes readership of the website and print edition easier.
Persons can now subscribe online (houstonherald.com/purchase) using a monthly reoccurring option. A small amount is withdrawn monthly from the user’s credit card.
The monthly options are:
•$2.95 (print edition in Texas County)
•$3.08 (print edition in adjoining counties)
•$4.28 (print edition elsewhere)
•$1.50 (digital subscription for print subscriber)
•$2.50 (digital subscription for non-print subscriber)
Current subscribers can convert to any package at the end of their term.
Readers who already subscribe to the print edition can upgrade to online access for only $1.50 per month. The benefits include full access to houstonherald.com, the weekly electronic version of the paper, E-Herald; and the daily newsletter.
