The “Who Let the Dogs Out 5K Run/Walk,” hosted by The Animal Shelter of Texas County (TASTC), has been rescheduled from this Saturday (May 21) to Saturday, June 18.
The fundraising event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Lone Star Plaza in downtown Houston (at Grand Avenue and Pine Street).
Registration is $30, or $35 on race day. Children 10-and-under accompanied by a paid adult can run for free.

Medals will be awarded the top male and female finishers in multiple categories, and top overall male and female runners.
The Ozark Mountain Grass Band will perform in the plaza at 10 a.m., and a guest speaker representing Healthy Schools Healthy Communities will be on hand to discuss healthy living.
Wiener dog races will be staged after the 5K awards ceremony.
