The Internal Revenue Service has given tax relief to Texas County residents due to flooding at year’s end.
Missourians in the impacted area — Texas County is included — will be able to file their 2015 tax return a month later, May 16.
The news came Friday from U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo.
