A Raymondville man received moderate injuries Monday afternoon in a trailer-truck accident in Douglas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Carl Anderson, 47, was operated an eastbound 2001 Western Star conventional tractor unit that failed to negotiate a curve, causing its trailer to travel off the right side of Highway 76. The trailer disconnected and overturned. The truck overturned in the roadway, troopers said.
Anderson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View.
The vehicle was totaled.
