The Houston JV football team fell to 1-3 with a 26-14 home loss Monday to Ava.
The Tigers were down one score before an Ava touchdown in the final minute.
“Paydon Dixon and Lucas Kelley really got us going on offense, and we had some big runs from Evan Richardson and Caleb Adkison,” Houston coach Eric Sloan said.
Sloan praised the defensive efforts of Michael Clayton and Dalton James.
