The 2015 HHS football cheerleaders.

Along with a halftime performance during the football game, the Houston High School cheerleaders have special plans for homecoming.

The group will be throwing more than 100 T-shirts into the stands that were donated by Walgreens, Landmark Bank and the Houston Tiger Booster Club. Small footballs donated by Sonic will also be given to the crowd.

Titan, the HHS mascot, will make his season debut during the parade and will be handing out T-shirts and autographed pictures.

At the game, the cheer team will sell “Restore the Roar” megaphones.

“We are excited to be a part of turning our program around,” said HHS cheer coach Delinda Dixon. “We have created several new cheers that go along with this year’s themes, ‘Restore the Roar’ and ‘One Town, One Team, One Goal.’ These girls have worked hard and are excited for what’s in store for our school.”
