A Summersville couple was seriously injured Sunday evening when they were ejected off a motorcycle.
Larry D. Hurt, 55, and Melva J. Hurt, 54, was taken by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield following the 5 p.m. accident three miles east of Eminence. Both were wearing helmets.
The patrol said Larry Hurt was driving westbound on Highway 106 when his 2003 Yamaha Roadstar left the roadway, overturned and ejected both occupants. The vehicle had moderate damage.
