Two Houston FFA members – Zach Gregory and Abby Ice – attended the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) last week in Washington, D.C.
While in D.C., the students attended leadership workshops and conferences with FFA members from around the country. They also visited landmarks and monuments in the nation’s Capital, including Arlington National Cemetery and the capitol building.
Students were also given time to tour the city, see other national monuments and visit museums. The conference is designed to help FFA members develop the qualities and skills of a successful leader and to allow them to mingle with other students from different areas of the country to learn how to better their own chapter.
