Texas County’s unemployment rate dropped four-tenths of a percentage point in June from the previous month, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
The figure was 7.2 percent, which matched the average rate across south-central Missouri.
The agency said the civilian work force in the county stood at 9,725, which was up 168 from the prior month. Unemployed stood at 697.
