PRCA

The Licking Chamber of Commerce will conclude its 31st annual Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo Saturday.

Gates will open at 6, with the rodeo beginning at 8.

Several vendors will operate booths at the rodeo grounds and prizes will be given away in nightly drawings (based on entry forms in the back of rodeo program booklets that can be filled out and dropped off at the information booth).

Miss Teen Rodeo Missouri, Jillian Albrecht, will be on hand nightly with her horse, Cheater.

On “Rodeo Saturday,” vendor booths will be set up along South Main Street featuring a variety of handcrafted items, information booths, raffle items and food. There will also be a dunking booth, carnival games and a tractor display by Cabool’s Ozarks Older Iron Club.

Free kids’ games will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m., with the Little Mr. Cowboy and Little Miss Cowgirl contests also set for Saturday morning (with two age divisions: newborn to 5 and 6 to 12).

The annual rodeo parade begins at 2 p.m., with the theme, “Back in the Saddle.”
