The library would like to remind all patrons of the library card policy: A library card is required by all patrons to use any of the services offered by Texas County Library. If you are checking items out or getting on the computer —  you must have your card with you.

The library reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot or will not show proper identification. This is not a new policy, and all libraries follow the same policy. The card enables everyone to be sure of the identity of the person using the library. This is to protect you as a patron and the library’s materials.
