The Animal Shelter of Texas County has rescheduled a fundraiser dinner and auction for Saturday in the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds on U.S. 63 north of Houston.
It has been planned for over the weekend, but inclement weather forced the postponement.
The event begins at 6 p.m., with the auction starting at 7:30. Live music will be provided by the Houston High School Jazz Band.
Tickets for the dinner are $20 in advance or $22 at the door. There is no charge to attend the auction only.
Proceeds will benefit the non-profit animal shelter.
