Licking police said an investigation into a break-in has led to three confessions.

A month-long investigation completed this week by the Licking Police Department has resulted in confessions by three suspects in an incident at the Licking Rodeo Park.

LPD Chief Scott Lindsey said that at about 3:10 a.m. Dec. 13, information was received regarding a break-in at the park’s concession building. An officer responded and discovered the building had been damaged and items appeared to be missing.

Lindsey said investigation led to identification of three suspects who have all confessed: Tyler S. Pugh, 24, and Braden L. Vankirk, 17, both of Licking, and a juvenile boy. Probable cause statements were sent to the county prosecutor seeking charges against Pugh and Vankirk of second-degree burglary, misdemeanor stealing and misdemeanor property damage. They were each taken to the Texas County Jail for a 24-hour hold period, pending formal charges.

A report was sent to the Texas County Juvenile Office regarding the minor boy.
