The following are excerpts of reports generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:
•A man called at about 1:20 p.m. Dec. 24 to report his former girlfriend was tearing up his Highway UU residence. An investigating officer stated all was calm when he arrived, and the man didn’t wish to pursue charges.
•A woman called at about 11:20 a.m. Dec. 24 to report a U-Haul truck suspiciously driving up and down Emery Road. An investigating officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
•A man called at about 11:20 a.m. Dec. 24 to report his daughter was a missing person out of Douglas County and he wanted to request help in searching for her in Texas County. The man called back later the same day and said she had been found.
•A Houston woman called Dec. 22 to report her mail had been thrown into a ditch near her Morton Road residence. There are no suspects.
