The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center thanked Georgia White of Richland for her recent donation.
The addition of five, hand-painted, porcelain music boxes depicting clowns with various instruments greatly enhances the Emmett Kelly collection at the visitors center, it said.
The music boxes were a limited edition and are part of a larger collection. The donation consists of seven items for display.
The public is invited to stop by and see them, and donations of Emmett Kelly memorabilia are welcomed and appreciated. The visitors center is at 501 E. Walnut and open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
