A new retail development is planned this fall on South Sam Houston Blvd. in Houston.
Rodney and Tressie Neugebauer announced they will construct a 2,000 square foot building to relocate their Subway franchise to property on U.S. 63 near First Street. The Neugebauers, the local franchisee since 2001, said a garage at the site was demolished last week to make way for the project. Bids are being sought for the building, which will greatly expand Subway’s seating capacity.
In addition to easier access and more parking, plans call for a drive-up window and seating for parties.
The Neugebauers also operate a location at Licking.
