A motorcyclist was injured Friday night when he swerved to miss a deer just inside Pulaski County.
Cpl. Greg Weddle said an eastbound 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Doran C. Pendleton, 50, of Newburg, served and overturned in the roadway on Highway TT two miles south of the Fort Leonard Wood’s south gate.
Members of the Roby Fire Department were called, but Pendleton was taken by private vehicle with moderate injuries to a Fort Leonard Wood hospital.
The motorcycle was totaled, Weddle said. Pendleton was wearing a helmet.
