Rehearsals are underway for the next musical presentation from the Stars Foundation, “101 Dalmations.”
The kids’ arrangement of the musical will be staged April 24-26 and May 1-2 at the Willow Springs Star Theatre.
The Disney musical stage play about a woman and her effort to round up many dogs for a fur coat — and the dogs’ efforts to escape — has been modified for presentation by local theatre groups. The cast has been in rehearsals since mid-March and includes many familiar faces from past programs.
Tickets are available by calling 417-254-3168. Box office will open at 6, an hour before the show. Reserved tickets are $5 and $6 at the door. Persons can also pick up tickets in Cabool at the STARS Foundation.
The Star Foundation program is open to all area students and citizens. About 300 students participate from six surrounding counties. The foundation is supported by donations from community businesses and individual citizens. Learn more at www.thestarsfoundation.org
