Security cameras are returning to the Texas County Administrative Center following bid approval of equipment by the Texas County Commission.
Commissioners approved a $2,622 bid from Electronic Solutions of Lebanon LLC for the equipment. Texas County Sheriff James Sigman was authorized to proceed with the project and to check on additional equipment that might be required.
In March, the commission ordered the removal of camera equipment — after it was alerted of the presence at the building. The equipment had been placed by the county collector-treasurer office due to security risks associated with tax collections.
